CONTENT IS KING
Content is king and it will remain so until the end of time. If you desire to be king of the content hill then you need to find something you love and start there. If you get involved with something that you’re less then enthused about then you will approach it with a less then stellar attitude. When you’re passionate about something then you’re more inclined to take action and make things happen. What is content? Content in my opinion is merely information that has value to end user and if you’re just throwing something against the wall and praying it sticks then you’re creating graffiti and not valuable content. Make a splash, make a difference and make someones day and start today.
When it comes to online marketing, be it video marketing, blogs or what ever means you deem appropriate for you then you need to provide your audience with substance or something that leaves them with value. You can’t please everyone and I certainly don’t go out of my way to please everyone as you just can’t, no matter how hard you try.
It’s really simple and not complicated, just provide value to others and this will in time produce a growing audience that will be there to listen with open ears and open eyes to what you have to offer. Content is a relative term in that it can be considered value to one and trash to another. If you have your heart in the context of what you’re blogging, video sharing or just communicating about, then you’re on the right path.
When people start to listen, read or just pay attention to your stuff then you’re providing good valuable content. You can’t please everyone as mentioned but if you’re having fun and sharing something that can perhaps touch, move and inspire then you have made a step forward in the content world and can be king of your content castle.
I’m not a professional writer and never claimed to be king of content but I will put out that which is on my mind and perhaps make a difference to others. It’s the context of your communication that will spell success or failure in the world of online marketing.
The more content that you put out, the more people will read, watch and listen to you. It takes action and that’s going to be tough for some.
Be big, be bold and be content with your content:)
